Backscreen Photo Contest Terms & Conditions

By submitting a photo to the Backscreen “Vertical Summer Photos” contest, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Contest period: 14 July – 25 August, 2026.
How to enter: Submit your photo via WhatsApp +371 22001198 or to Janis Backscreen via LinkedIn, Telegram, Signal, Messenger or to janisbackscreen@gmail.com.
Theme: Vertical summer photos.
Eligibility: By entering, participants confirm they own the photo and have the right to submit it and the rights of third parties are not infringed upon. If identifiable people appear in your photo, you confirm that you are entitled to share the photo and, where required, have obtained any necessary permission or consent.
Content review: Backscreen reserves the right to select and publish only photos that comply with ethical and moral standards.
Publication: Selected photos will be featured in Backscreen’s market communication and in particular on Backscreen’s LinkedIn and website.
Awards: There will be 10 main awards upon discretionary selection of Backscreen and 30 complimentary awards for the first 30 participants of this contest.
Award ceremony: Winners will be announced at IBC Amsterdam (RAI Exhibition Centre) Backscreen Booth 5.A37 on Friday, 11 September at 16:30.
General: Backscreen may reject any entry that is inappropriate, offensive, or does not meet the contest criteria without further explanation. By submitting your photograph, you transfer to Backscreen your economic rights of the author regarding the use of the work and grant Backscreen, free of charge, the right to publish the image on our official LinkedIn profile and website for promotional purposes for a period of 5 years.
